La Paz, Mexico captures the stunning coastal light at the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. Painted directly across from a beautiful beach, this work focuses on a striking moment of contrast: the intense Mexican sun illuminating an older building and highlighting its beautiful, weathered state. I was immediately drawn to the dramatic interplay of light and shadow on a structure left to tell its own story.
