Ian Livingston
Ian Livingston is an acclaimed watercolour painter based on the picturesque West Coast of Canada, operating out of Maple Ridge, British Columbia. His artistic journey began in the early 1980s, where he was a dedicated exhibitor, notably participating in the prestigious Robson Square Annual Juried Exhibition for several consecutive years. The demands of raising a family and running a successful painting contractor business led to a three-decade hiatus, but upon retirement, Livingston returned to his first love: art. This renewed dedication has quickly yielded significant recognition with the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA). His painting, "Roses and Baby Breath," a watercolor on 300Lb Arches paper, recently captured First Place in the FCA Fraser Valley Chapter's juried art show, "Fraser Valley: Inspirations" (September 2024). Now fully immersed in his creative pursuit, Livingston is actively working toward achieving an Associate or Signature Status designation with the Federation of Canadian Artists.
